BOOK now for the Spring and Summer!

At Between The Covers, we have done a bit of renovating this winter. Each room has been thoroughly cleaned, there’s a new fridge in one room, new paintings on the walls and, of course, more books on the shelves!
We are looking forward to hosting you on Salt Spring this year.
The bookings are coming in, especially for July. So contact us early to avoid disappointment.
Summer is glorious on the island, with ferries from the mainland or Vancouver Island to bring you here.

For now. the island is green, the weather is mild and the books are waiting!

Kayaking to Chocolate Beach!

First day of summer. We took the kayak to Chocolate Beach, not far from Ganges Harbour. You can rent kayaks on the island and do guided tours, even moonlit kayak tours.

With summer rapidly approaching, we are ready for our guests. Come and park your vehicle, then curl up with a good book in bed, or on the deck, or in a lawn chair overlooking the lavender.
Our rooms don’t have a TV but plenty of books. If you get hooked on one, chances are that you can take it with you to finish reading it at your leisure.
We do have wireless internet.

Visiting Salt Spring Island

If you plan to visit Salt Spring, check out some of the small airlines that service our island. Seair, Harbour Air and Salt Spring Air all fly into Ganges Harbour, from the Vancouver Airport or downtown as well as from Victoria. It’s a thrilling way to see the Gulf Islands and may not cost much more than bringing your car on the ferry twice. You will also arrive within half an hour instead of spending hours waiting and driving! For a small $5 fee we offer pick up from ferry or seaplane terminals.
